Decrease the start-up time for XP to boot up..
Go into the Registry editor1. click on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex
2.
scroll down to bottom to the key that says "StartupDelay"
3. click to open and change the base from Hexadecimal to Decimal (it's
just the number translation)
4. change it to a smaller number from 480000 to 40000, be careful not to
make it too small.
5. now reboot the system, you should see a noticeable difference in boot
up speed. |
